Manchester Christmas Markets

Free to visit and situated across various locations around the city, Manchester’s Christmas Markets are internationally renowned and the North-West's biggest market. With activities that range from ice skating to rum tasting, there is something fun for everyone in the family. Like 2021, this year the main hub of markets will be in the ‘Winter Gardens’ – however works are taking place on Albert Square, so not all stalls will be returning to their usual locations this year.

Preston Makers Market

Preston’s Makers Market will bring together independent artisans, makers, performers, and businesses from across the North-West to create a local, festive community atmosphere at the Flag Market. Hosting a wide selection of Preston’s finest traders, you can expect delicious treats, warm coffee, amazing crafts, and much more!

Hosted at Quayside in Media City, this market with showcase Salford’s amazing independent businesses, allowing visitors to shop locally and support their community. All traders produce quality, handmade goods that are perfect for stocking fillers, Christmas dinner, and festive treats.

Northern Quarter Makers Market

The Northern Quarter Makers Market is known for its outstanding art traders, who create products such as tote bags, prints, and mugs – just to name a few. Featuring but a fraction of the best independent businesses that reside in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, visitors love support this corner of the city’s quirky, independent scene and delight in tasting all of the different flavours that the food stalls offer. Chester Christmas Markets

18th November to 21st December 2022 (10.30am-6.30pm/8pm)

This year, Chester Christmas Markets celebrate their 10th birthday! Get the festive feeling this winter and treat yourself to visiting one of the North-West's most historical markets, with 70 traders situated in the square around the town hall, the new arcade, the forum, and the city’s Christmas tree. Discover unique, locally made produce; with handmade crafts, jewellery, accessories, and stocking fillers, Chester Markets have your Christmas already wrapped up!

Confirmed traders:

Bar Humbugs – Mulled gin, spiced rum, and hot chocolates with cream toppings.

The Bubble Waffle – Freshly-made waffles with a selection of toppings.

The Christmas Prosecco and Gin Bar – Over 30 hand-selected gins and rums, as well as our 10 festive Proseccos, with local entertainment on Thursdays and Fridays.
