2. The Hive
The Hive has joined the exciting community of independent businesses that are thriving at Stretford Mall. The highly anticipated restaurant opened at the start of the year and is already a favourite with Stretford residents. The Hive provides an all-day food and drink experience serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner complemented by a solid selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. 3. The Longford Tap
Another addition to Stretford Mall is The Longford Tap, which was opened by local brothers in 2019. The bar features huge photo montages of the town throughout the years, paying tribute to the town’s rich history. The Longford Tap creates a relaxed atmosphere and has a wide selection of craft ales, wines and spirits which are mostly sourced locally. They also have a great selection of coffee and cakes making it the perfect place to visit next time you are shopping at the mall
4. Emellia’s Della Roma
Emellia’s is one of those hidden gems that is very popular among Stretford residents. If you walked past you might mistake Emellia’s for a takeaway. Once you step inside you will be welcomed by the friendly staff of this small, family run Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the menu is full of all your Italian favourites. The value for money here is incredible which is one of the reasons the restaurant is always busy. Be sure to book before you go.
5. HEAD
HEAD is a new bar that has taken the space that was once home to the HSBC bank at Stretford Mall. The décor has a vintage feel and is much like a 1960’s lounge bar. The owners have used the space well by retaining some original features including the bank counter that is now a two-sided open bar. Expect eclectic music and quiz nights together with locally sourced beers and food.
