Johnson's Square Completes

Our development of 10 apartments in Manchester has now completed, and tenants are able to move in. We are currently sending certificates of completion to solicitors for investors to have the pleasure of owning another investment opportunity brought to you by the Heaton Group.

Origins

Johnsons Square started in February 2019 and was selected as it was just on the outskirts of Manchester, less than a mile from the city centre. Situated on Oldham Road, the development has fantastic public transport links for tenants. In essence, those working in the city centre or around the area can quickly and efficiently reach transport links.

Situated close to Ancoats and the Northern Quarter, those looking to cut their commute but still have the city centre lifestyle that is now so popular among young professionals makes Johnsons’ Square an attractive proposition to tenants. All the apartments are almost fully tenanted and providing investors with an immediate return on investment. As mentioned, we still have 2 of these remaining, so if you are interested, then please do get in touch.

Manchester Developments

Broader regeneration projects are happening in and around the Manchester area as the city centre continues to grow in popularity. Property prices in Manchester are growing all the time with the next five years predicted to see property in Manchester rise in value by approximately 25%. This is the most significant predicted increase across the whole of the UK and testament to what is happening right now in the Manchester area.

The Heaton Group have also been redeveloping HMO’s in Worsley and Bury – a favoured property type in the Manchester area due to demand and high rental yields. They take a little more maintenance than an apartment property, but they are often seen as more lucrative in the long term.

Summary

Looking at Manchester overall, it is an exciting time to be part of the redevelopment of the area. We expect property demand to skyrocket post-coronavirus due to the low-interest rates announced and for overseas investors to take advantage of a weak currency in comparison to theirs right now.
