Berkeley Square (West Building)
The construction progress at Berkeley Square in Salford is moving forward steadily. The lower ground floor slab and tarmac are 50% complete, indicating significant progress in this area. The foundations and drainage continue to progress steadily throughout the rest of the building.
The first two out of seven pours have already been completed on the upper ground floor. Pour number three is in progress, including PT (post-tensioning), reinforcement, and formwork.
Moving up to level 1, the installation of falsework and formwork for the floor slab pour number one of seven is taking place. This step is crucial in ensuring the stability and strength of the building's foundation.
The construction of the concrete stair/lift cores is also well underway. Cores two and three have been completed, indicating significant progress in this area. The core one is nearing completion, with the slipform technique being utilized. Once core one is finished, the stairs will be installed, further enhancing the accessibility and functionality of the building.
Overall, the construction progress at Berkeley Square is on track and showcases the commitment to quality and precision in every aspect of development.
